Sonoma County Maternity Session | Bodega Bay & Wildflower Fields

Sonoma County has two sides — and we found both of them in one evening.

We started in the foothills, where the wildflower fields were full and golden and the spring light was doing everything right. There were real laughs out there — the kind that happen when you forget you're being photographed and you're just two people dancing through a field together. Then we made our way to the coast, where the mood shifted completely. The wind came off the water, the dunes stretched out under a moody sky, and everything got quieter and more cinematic.

This couple brought all of it with them. Excited, free-spirited, completely themselves. And in between the movement and the joy there were tender moments — hands on her belly, foreheads together, the particular stillness of two people on the edge of something big.

Sonoma County doesn't always give you both the golden and the moody in one session. This one did.
